Celebrating 25 Years of Alleluia!

Alleluia 2010

This summer marks a remarkable milestone for Baylor University’s Alleluia Conference—25 years of serving the Church through worship, excellence, and community. What began as a hopeful response to a moment of concern has become one of Baylor’s most enduring gifts to church musicians across the country.

Founded through the vision of Dr. Randall Bradley, the Alleluia Conference emerged from a conviction that church musicians deserved a gathering rooted in theological depth, artistic excellence, and genuine encouragement. From its earliest days, Alleluia sought to inspire those leading worship in traditional church contexts and to cultivate renewal through music shaped by faith and craftsmanship.

The inaugural conference in 2002 set a standard that continues today, bringing nationally respected leaders, composers, and worship planners to Baylor’s campus. In the years that followed, Alleluia grew in scope and influence—expanding into Truett Seminary, forming key partnerships such as YouthCUE, and becoming a formative hands-on experience for graduate students in the Center for Christian Music Studies. Thousands of participants have since been shaped through worship gatherings, reading sessions, concerts, and moments of shared reflection and learning.

As we celebrate this quarter century of impact, we also give thanks for the many people who have sustained Alleluia over the years: faculty, staff, students, partners, presenters, volunteers, and attendees whose collective commitment has made the conference what it is today. We offer particular gratitude for the faithful leadership of Dr. Randall Bradley, whose vision, perseverance, and pastoral heart have guided Alleluia since its inception and whose legacy will continue to shape its future.

At its core, the Alleluia Conference remains what it has always been—a place of renewal and belonging, where church musicians are reminded of the beauty of their calling and equipped to serve with excellence and joy.

We invite you to join us July 21–24, 2026, on Baylor’s campus as we celebrate 25 years of Alleluia and look ahead with gratitude and hope for the song that continues.

With thanksgiving,

Alleluia
